When I went out to start the truck this morning to take Travis to school I discovered that the Hamlet is offering an new service to go with their water delivery, free truck washes. It would appear that somehow when our water was delivered last night the hose must have got away from the operator. I came out to find a layer of ice coating most of the truck, it is, after all, -25C out.
How much ice? Well, I had a heck of a time chipping a viewing port out of the windows, even after the truck had been running for fifteen minutes (I know... I know), the truck didn't want to start because there was ice on the engine, my extension cord was frozen to the front of my truck, and the truck was frozen to the ground. I'm still trying to figure out if the coating of ice on my wall is going to help or hurt my insulation values on the water tank room.
